Freaky Fish

Walking around our local area you get to see some sights; some nicer than others.

One particular one that sticks out is the metal fish sculpture at the local marina.

Moroccan

We continued our dinning out experience as one of our friends recently had a dinner party which he cooked three courses and the menu theme was Moroccan.

In total there were 10 adults (5 couples), 2 babies and 2 on the way.  The last four didn't eat the meal.

We all had a great time, lovely food and lovely company.

Sunday Roast At The Willis House

We were treated to a lovely Sunday roast (lamb) and banana triffle; all cooked by Zoe.  We coupled this with a red wine (for the boys) and a non alcholic wine (for the girls as they are both pregnant).

After which we went for a wonder around London Fields where we saw lots of 'creative' types.

Holland Park

(Click on the play button to see the video)

Alan and Daisy came to visit us and as it was such a nice day we decided to visit a park.

Whilst we were there we decided to have some coffee and cakes.

Afterwich we wondered around the park.

Originally the park was an old Manor house built around 1605 but was destroyed in the WWII bombings.

Part of the gardens has been turned into a Japanease themed area.

It has a largish pond with very large carp in it.

As you can see Mike and Alan took turns in carrying Zachary.

The Fun Is Over - Back To Work Slacker!

I'm going back to work from 1 March (part time - Monday's, Thursday's and Friday's).  That's so I can get back into the swing of the 9 to 5 (apparently) routines.

After two months of that I might have to go back full time for three months but I'll sit down and talk with my boss mid April to discuss that.

It will seem strange as I've been off for eight months.  Not much has changed but it's always the little things which you forget or are modified which make you feel that you've been away (even for a week).

Be My Valantine

My darling husband bought me a fantastic bunch of roses for Valantines.

I then took my hubby out to dinner.

As we were accompanied by junior we had a little issue of getting into the premises (the buggie was too wide for the door).  I had to hold junior whilst dad dismantled the buggy to get it into the building.

After that everything went well and we had a lovely meal.

Ahh a romantic dinner for 3 (and a bit).

Dinner Date

We met our friends (Tim and Megan) for dinner at Pizza Hut.

This is the last time we will see them before the birth of their little girl (around the end of February).
