BILL'S @ BRIGHTON

Given that our lunch was awful Amy sought help by calling a friend who'd recently been to Brighton.

She was advised of a trendy produce/cafe place called 'Bills' in 'The Laines' part of Brighton.

This area is halfway between the beach and the train station.

The decorations were interesting; fresh produced stacked in unusual ways and clumps of brightly dyed tissue paper hanging from the roof. All along one wall was a series of shelves stacked with produce which the cafe store was selling.

Along the other wall was where the cooks prepared the food as well as cabinets full of freshly made sandwiches and cakes.

In the centre was the seating which consisted of wooden tables and chairs.

Amy and I ordered pancakes with fruit and a cafe latte whilst Mike ordered a steak sandwich and chocolate milkshake.

As you can see it was so good that we didn't leave much on our plates.
