LOCAL TRANSPORT

In the village there was a horse and cart owner who would tie his horses up at the entrance to the slopes in the hope people would hire them for a ride.

These horses would stand out there from the start of first lift (9 am) to just after the lifts closed (7 pm).

Most of the time they didn't move.
